This position will support the expansion and scale-up of Nanocompbos state-of-the-art manufacturing processes for our breakthrough nanotube sheet and yarn products. Specific duties include: the design, construction and deployment of new CVD reactors, yarn and sheet harvesting systems, and wet chemical post-processing equipment. The successful candidate will also optimize and improve existing units. Knowledge of industrial automation systems, exposure to a quality management system, and skills in chemical processing are preferred. The ability to work with external suppliers to build and deliver components and sub-assemblies is a plus. An advanced degree in mechanical engineering is desired but a minimum of 10 years experience in either pilot or industrial scale plants is required. This is a senior position that reports directly to the VP, Engineering.
